Volunteer stories

ProNica unites volunteers with grassroots organizations to assist their development in various ways. Recent volunteers have assisted a rural village build a water system, taught basic reproductive health to poor women in a remote area, assisted organic farmers bring their crops to market, built a library for Yahoskas and Quinchos, created digital archives of publications. Volunteer service is rewarding for both volunteers and their Nicaraguan counterparts. Some volunteers share their experiences below.
