Delegations to Nicaragua
ProNica hosts delegation groups of up-to-fifteen students from colleges and universities for two or three weeks. Other groups from civic organizations and churches may form delegations. Unique itineraries are created for each delegation depending on their interest. Speakers, events, visits, and service learning projects are then scheduled.
ProNica Nicaragua Coordinator Lillian Hall has lived and worked in Nicaragua over 20 years. Her large network of contacts create a unique and educational experience.
ProNica also offers a ten-day Friends Witness Tour, for smaller groups of four to six participants. We visit community-based projects that ProNica supports and meet those who perform development work.

Ten Southeastern Yearly Meeting Quaker teens from Florida traveled to Nicaragua for two weeks in June. They joined three Nicaraguan teenagers to visit ProNica project partner sites, volcanoes, crater lakes, and a rural village. In El Límon they lived with host families and helped repair the only road from Estelí. You can also read the blog of their visit.
